What you may not publish

Do not publish illegal content, pornography or sexually explicit material, hate or harassment, threats, malware, phishing, fraud, private personal data without authorization, non-consensual images, or content that infringes copyright or trademark. Do not impersonate another person or organization. Do not use the service to distribute credentials, exploit kits, or instructions whose main purpose is unlawful harm.

File size and technical limits

PDFs must be 5 MB or smaller. Markdown source is limited to 1 MB. Automated limits can reject documents that exceed those caps, contain too many pages or assets, or fail conversion. Attempts to bypass rate limits, upload prohibited content, or overload the converter may lead to blocking.

Retention

Free documents are deleted after 3 months. Paid documents may remain available for at most 5 years from creation. We may delete any document sooner for prohibited content, legal risk, security abuse, or violation of these terms. Paid retention does not protect unlawful or prohibited documents.

Because free users do not register, Online Manual cannot guarantee a reminder before deletion. Download your PDF and Markdown source before the expiry date shown on the result page.

Your rights and our limited license

You keep copyright in content you are allowed to publish. You grant Online Manual a limited, non-exclusive license to host, process, transmit, reproduce, and display the document only to operate the service: conversion, storage, delivery, QR generation, moderation, legal compliance, and deletion. You must have rights to every image, logo, font, and excerpt included in the document.

Moderation and removal

Anyone can report a document. We may disable or delete reported documents while reviewing them. We may preserve minimal report metadata for abuse prevention and legal compliance. Repeat reports can trigger automatic review or removal. Free copies may be deleted without notice; paid users receive only the notice process described in their paid plan for non-violating content.

No warranty

Online Manual is provided as-is. We do not guarantee availability, accuracy, print fidelity, archival retention, or fitness for a particular use. Do not rely on this service as the only copy of safety-critical documentation.
