Privacy notice

What we store

• Document title, Markdown source, generated PDF, QR code, short code, page size, file sizes, creation and expiry times, download count, and terms version.
• Hashed IP addresses and truncated user-agent strings for abuse prevention. We do not need your raw IP address after hashing.
• Reports, moderation decisions, and minimal audit records when documents are disabled or deleted.
• Browser-local draft content if you use the editor; drafts stay in your browser unless you publish.

What we do not do

• We do not sell document content or personal data.
• We do not index short URLs for search engines by default.
• We do not keep expired or deleted document files in public buckets.
• We do not use uploaded manuals to train models without explicit consent and disclosure.

Markdown conversion service

Publishing sends your Markdown, title, and page-size choice to an Online Manual converter Worker running on Cloudflare. That Worker uses Cloudflare Browser Run to render the PDF and does not provide content to a third-party PDF API. Do not publish confidential, regulated, or export-controlled material unless you accept Cloudflare's processing role.

Retention and deletion

Free documents are deleted after 3 months. Paid documents may be retained for at most 5 years. Any document may be deleted sooner for prohibited content, legal risk, or abuse. Deletion removes the PDF, Markdown source, and QR asset from storage. Minimal audit metadata may remain for security and legal compliance.

Your choices

• Do not publish sensitive, confidential, export-controlled, or personal data.
• Use the report page to flag unlawful or infringing documents.
• Clear browser storage to remove local drafts.
• Ask for deletion through the report page and include the short URL and a lawful reason.
